Jukebox Musical Theatre Course: Songs by Scottish Artists

Celebrate "old and new" Scottish music by creating a piece of musical theatre over the the Spring Holiday on our Easter Course for ages 8-16. Using music from Scottish Artists, devise a musical and celebrate current and well-known Scottish songs. Participants will work on a new piece of musical theatre that will be performed to a live audience on the final day of the course.

Ideal for exploring and developing skills in:
• Improvisation
• Character
• Communication
• Participation
• Voice
• Movement
 
No previous experience required. 
 
The course will be run by Musical Theatre specialist tutors:
Ross Brown (Composer, Musical Director) and Darren Brownlee (Actor, Choreographer and Musical Theatre expert).
 
When? Monday 8 - Saturday 13 April 2013, 9.30am–5pm everyday (drop off and pick up facilities are available from 8.30am and up to 6pm)
 
Where? Scottish Youth Theatre, The Old Sheriff Court, 105 Brunswick Street, Glasgow G1 1TF.
 
How much? £125 (incl. 2 tickets for the final performance)
