Curriculum for Excellence - Special Educational Needs
All Scottish Youth Theatre Drama Directors are fully PGV checked, highly qualified , skilled, experienced and respected theatre professionals. The workshops are designed to suit the needs of the group and focus on ability and celebrating the individual strengths of the young people. Specialist tutors facilitating these sessions have extensive experience in this area.
Previous groups have included young people with sensory impairments, on the autistic spectrum, mild to severe learning difficulties, complex physical disabilities and global developmental delay.
These workshops offer Scottish Youth Theatre's house style of highly interactive, exciting, young person centred theatre activities.
Encouraging motivation for learning, these workshops incorporate each and every person’s ability into the exercises and games. All workshop levels can be adapted to suit the needs of your group.
