"The days were tiring but we learnt loads and had a great time. I LOVED this project!"

Summer Festival 2010

Summer Festival 2010 saw three very different but equally impressive productions take place in Glasgow between July and August. Jerusalem: The Song Of Deeds at Brian Cox Studio, The Court Of Miracles at Tron Theatre and Adventures In A Norwegian Wood in The Pink Room at Scottish Youth Theatre.

Here's just some of what the national press had to say:

“There’s no resisting the dazzling commitment of its young and gifted SYT cast...and the whole event glows with theatrical imagination and wildness, sometimes silly, sometimes brilliant, and always completely liberating...”
The Scotsman, Jerusalem: The Song of the Deeds, Summer Festival 2010

“...an intense pleasure”
The Scotsman, Adventures in a Norwegian Wood, Summer Festival 2010

“...there were audible gulps while they encountered each other’s tears”
“...met with laughter and rapturous applause on opening night”
The Glasgow Herald, The Court of Miracles, Summer Festival 2010

The trailers below are just a small taste of each of the productions. We guarantee these clips will inspire those who weren't involved last year - be it as a participant or audience member - to get involved for 2011!
