Summer Festival - Performance and Production Learning Programme (6 weeks, age 16 - 25)
The Performance and Production Learning Programme (6 weeks) is a practical and intensive chance to learn about and build upon the skills needed in the live performer, and to gain a practical qualification in performance.
Scottish Youth Theatre is proud to introduce this exciting new course, the first of it’s kind in Scotland, offering a vocational alternative to school and college qualifications, and focussing on active, practical learning for young people.
Following a three day programme of masterclasses, participants take part in the already established 5 Week Performance and Production Course, with an added level of preparation and assessment.
Successful completion of the Performance and Production Learning Programme will afford participants a qualification that sits between the Higher/Advance Higher level on the SCQF at level 7 with 29 credit points.
Scottish Youth Theatre would like to thank Skills Development Scotland for their support in developing this course.
