PROM NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD – EUROPEAN PREMIERE
Written by Brad Fraser. Directed by Mary McCluskey. Original music by Ross Brown.
2 – 6 August, 7.45 pm, 2pm matinee Saturday 6 August, Tron Theatre
Just another graduating class of teenagers, eager to leave school and embark on the rest of their lives after their last prom. A few tiny details hinder all of this; a member of the class has been turned into a werewolf, at around the same time a witch and three evil monsters invade the town, the witch wants to hunt down the werewolf and in the process of doing so snares all the young men in her path. The fate of the town (and more importantly – prom night) rests upon the town’s young women.
Let the cast of Scottish Youth Theatre’s Summer Festival 2011 treat you to this thoroughly unconventional and delightfully zany rock musical.
